$80 - $150 USD hourly

• $80–$150 per hour equivalent, paid per accepted task

• 100% remote

• Part-time

• Fully flexible schedule

Use your legal background to analyze realistic fact patterns, draft defensible conclusions, explain the reasoning behind them, and set clear standards for judging other answers. You will work on structured tasks from home, with flexible project assignments suited to attorneys who value careful written analysis and consistency. The work rewards precise reading, careful writing, and a clear explanation of why a conclusion follows from the facts and governing authority. It offers a practical way to improve evaluated legal reasoning while continuing your existing practice, strengthening professional judgment, and building a clear record of your analysis.

Legal teams need careful reviewers for structured reasoning assignments. Build demanding legal tasks from realistic fact patterns and the documents that accompany them. Write analyses that tie each conclusion to the record and governing law, set standards for judging responses, and check work from fellow attorneys for clarity and consistency. This project is remote and can fit alongside other work.

What you'll do

• Turn realistic legal practice scenarios into challenging legal reasoning tasks

• Write out the legal basis for a conclusion using the record and governing authority

• Set grading criteria that let another attorney evaluate an answer consistently

• Audit tasks from other attorneys for sound legal analysis and clear reasoning, flagging any that are too unclear to grade reliably

Why this is worth your time

• Compensation ranges from $80–$150 per hour equivalent, paid per accepted task

• Apply your legal analysis to varied assignments and return work others can assess

• Choose project work that fits your legal practice

• Work remotely around your schedule without fixed shifts or commuting

Who this is for

• Have a J.D.; your U.S. bar license must be active and in good standing

• Bring active-practice experience of three to fifteen years; qualifying work includes litigation, corporate, real estate, bankruptcy, compliance, or another area of relevant legal practice

• Use English at C1 or higher and apply strong written reasoning, legal research, issue spotting, fact-pattern analysis, and clear explanations of defensible versus unsupported conclusions

• Experience with legal data or AI review work can help, but it is optional.

• Previous AI experience is optional.
