On your own schedule, assess AI-generated responses on forensic firearms and toolmark examination and report what you find.

AI companies need forensic firearms and toolmark experts to test and correct their systems on real forensic examination work. Assess AI-generated responses covering microscopic comparative ballistics, toolmark identification, impressions from firing pins and breech faces, and other ballistic evidence. Use accepted practices and forensic laboratory standards to assess those responses, record your recommendations, and set out your findings both verbally and in writing. This is that work, done remotely around your schedule.

What you'll do

• Assess AI-generated responses on toolmark identification and microscopic comparative ballistics

• Review analyses involving impressions from firing pins and breech faces

• Assess how AI reads rifling characteristics alongside other ballistic evidence

• Set out recommendations under accepted forensic laboratory practices and standards, then report your findings verbally and in writing
