Review inpatient charts for medical AI systems, part-time and on your own schedule.

AI training work uses expert review to check and improve what AI systems produce. Medical AI systems that read hospital records need hospital medicine physicians to review inpatient documentation, judge whether each clinical claim is backed by the chart, and give clear feedback on accuracy, completeness, and consistency. This is remote, part-time contractor work applying your hospitalist expertise to medical-AI chart review.

What you'll do

• Review FHIR data, clinical notes, and other inpatient chart information

• Assess the HPI, medical history, medication reconciliation, social history, assessment and plan

• Spot gaps in renal and hepatic dose adjustment, medication interactions, and age-appropriate details

• Review notes across admission, daily progress, transitions of care, and discharge

Who this is for

• MD or DO, with board certification in Internal Medicine or an Internal Medicine-focused hospital medicine practice designation

• At least five years of hospitalist experience, plus current or recent inpatient hospitalist work in the last two years

• Fluent in English, with strong knowledge of adult inpatient documentation and hospital workflows

• Comfortable reviewing clinical notes and raw chart data, and careful in following written guidelines

• Helpful background includes chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, medical coding, clinical quality assurance, medication safety, or evaluating support for clinical claims.

• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; your hospitalist judgment helps evaluate and improve AI chart review.
