Swedish Language Expert

SME Careers, a fast-growing AI data services company and subsidiary of SuperAnnotate that delivers training data to many of the world's largest AI companies and foundation-model labs, is hiring a Swedish Language Expert for hourly, remote contract work at $55/hr. Open to applicants in Finland and Sweden.

You will review AI-generated Swedish content and/or create high-quality Swedish reference content: create prompts and gold-standard Swedish answers across domains (general knowledge, customer support, education, conversational writing); evaluate and rank AI outputs for fluency, correctness, tone and cultural appropriateness; spot mistranslation, register and logic errors; fact-check claims; and detect unsafe or misleading content, hallucinations and bias.

Requirements: native or near-native Swedish (reading and writing); professional English at C1 or higher; a bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Swedish/English Literature, Communications, Journalism, Translation or a related field (or equivalent experience); 3+ years in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, education or related work; deep knowledge of Swedish grammar, spelling, punctuation and style. Prior AI data training, translation QA or rubric-based evaluation experience is strongly preferred.
