AI companies need systems architects to create practical training scenarios based on work across several engineering disciplines. You will plan projects that bring together decisions about mechanical and electrical design, hardware, software, and manufacturing, then turn project goals into system designs with clear system boundaries, showing what each subsystem owns and how interfaces and technical constraints fit together. You will break architecture questions into connected tasks with the needed inputs, expected deliverables, linked dependencies, and clear expert ownership, then set the technical goals and assessment criteria while using technical trade studies, architecture reviews, and interface management to assess the work. This is that work, done remotely around your schedule.

What you'll do

• Create engineering projects that bring together mechanical and electrical design, hardware, software, and manufacturing decisions

• Turn project goals into system designs with clear boundaries, defined subsystem ownership, interface descriptions, and technical constraints

• Break architecture questions into connected tasks that identify the needed inputs, expected deliverables, dependencies, and expert ownership

• Run technical trade studies, architecture reviews, and interface management to establish the goals and assessment criteria for the work
